Our Services

Comprehensive
Eye Exams

Comprehensive eye exams are the best way to maintain proper eye health. Our practice has all the equipment necessary to reliably detect cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and more as early as possible. If you or your family has a history of eye disease, we recommend a comprehensive eye exam once or twice a year. Otherwise, having one performed every 2 years is generally acceptable.

Contact Lens
Exams

Whether you’re a contact lens first-timer or have been wearing them for years, we’ll ensure your new lenses are snug, your prescription is accurate, and you’ve chosen the right brand for you. We also offer specialty contact lens exams: Gas-Permeable Contact Lenses Otherwise known as Rigid Gas Permeable or Hard Contact Lenses, these lenses are made from materials that allow oxygen to pass through the lens material to the eye. They provide sharper vision, more accurate correction for astigmatism, maintain eye moisture, and last much longer than soft contact lenses. Bifocal Contact Lenses Bifocal contact lenses work very similarly to bifocal glasses and are available in either soft or gas-permeable form. They come in two forms, usually decided by personal preference: segmented or concentric design.

Pediatric Eye Care

Childhood is the best time to remedy irregular eye development. It’s recommended that children as young as 6 months old have their eyes examined. Schedule a pediatric eye exam with us if your child is showing any of these vision-related symptoms: •Squinting •Eye rubbing •Headaches •Excessive blinking •Covering one eye when trying to focus

Geriatric Eye Care

Seniors 65 and older should get a comprehensive eye exam at least once a year. Most eye diseases develop later in life, and eye structure and tissue are more vulnerable to change, so recurring eye appointments are essential for vision maintenance.

Primary Care

Sticking to a schedule can help maintain good eye health and detect common eye ailments and diseases before it’s too late. Schedule your next eye exam online to keep your eyes healthy and your prescription current. Walk-ins are also welcome!

Eye Emergencies

Call our office immediately if you have a sudden vision change or eye injury. We accept walk-ins for emergency eye care needs like pink eye, red eye, or acute vision disturbances. Vision disturbances are considered acute if they develop quickly—within minutes or over a couple of days.

Eye Disease Evaluations

Our practice’s top-of-the-line technology can help detect, diagnose, and plan treatment for many eye diseases. Cataracts Cataracts are incredibly prevalent among older adults. A cataract occurs when your eye’s lens becomes clouded, usually resulting in foggy, blurry, or less colorful vision. Symptoms commonly appear after cataracts have developed, so frequent eye exams with your optometrist are the most effective way to identify warning signs before they become problems. Glaucoma Glaucoma occurs when pressure inside the eye damages your optic nerve. Usually, you won’t notice symptoms until the disease develops enough to damage your peripheral vision, so having a comprehensive eye exam is vital for early detection and prevention. Diabetic Retinopathy (Diabetic Eye Disease) Diabetic retinopathy is a retinal disease caused by diabetes. Early stages of the disease cause weakened blood vessels in each eye, causing blurry vision and, in later stages, even legal blindness. Macular Degeneration Macular degeneration causes central vision loss due to damaged retinas. There are two forms of macular degeneration: exudative (wet) and atrophic (dry). Detection and treatment options vary from person to person and by type.

Walk-In Appointments Welcome
